The Honors Program at ¸Û²Ê¿ª½± enhances the academic experiences of students through intellectual challenges that promote critical thinking, effective communication, integrity and preparing for future success both academically and professionally. Additionally, the Honors Program provides a funding opportunity for students to help defray the cost of attending college.
In the Honors Program, students complete in-depth academic research for classes and projects, take cohort classes with other like-minded Honors students, and attend enriching and thought-provoking lectures and co-curricular activities designed to broaden the student experience and understanding.
There are two kinds of Honors students: recent high school grads who meet the eligibility requirements are Presidents’ Scholars, and Honors Achievement Award scholars are existing or returning students.
